MY debut graphic novel!

My debut middle grade graphic novel and semi-autobiographical memoir is set to release in the Spring of ‘27, published through Scholastic and Graphix.

Based on my childhood, Learning to America ( title pending), follows sixth-grader Chris Choi, who has moved from South Korea to the U.S. after getting adopted by his American aunt and uncle. Chris tries to fit in at school despite his limited english, constant bullying, and a class project about personal heritage that makes him feel like he's standing out for all of the wrong reasons.
