Hi there!

My name is Chris Choi and I am an illustrator and soon-to-be author! I work my dream job every single day, specializing in graphic novels, book covers, interior art, as well as editorial illustrations. If I’m drawing, I’m happy, and I’ve been lucky enough to be professionally illustrating full-time for over a decade now!

I grew up all around the world and throughout the U.S.A, living in places like Seoul, Portland, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, and New York City, but I grew up mostly on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration in 2010.

I am an American-born Korean American, army brat, and an adoptee. My debut middle-grade graphic novel memoir will touch on all these subjects and more with humor and heart. My book is set to release in the Spring of 2027 with Scholastic. Keep an eye out and subscribe below for updates!
